PARIS, FRANCE, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Altherum, the investment platform developed within the CGPH Banque d’affaires ecosystem, was created in response to a concrete demand emerging from its clients: access to alternative investments, private equity club deals and projects linked to the real economy that are often difficult to reach through traditional channels or public markets.

Altherum is not a catalogue of standard financial products. Each opportunity starts with a specific company, asset or project. CGPH Banque d’affaires sources the transaction through its network, analyses its financial and industrial fundamentals and contributes to the definition of the investment structure. Altherum then organises the opportunity and enables qualified investors to access the relevant participation.

Club Deals Built Around Individual Transactions
Club deals are at the centre of the Altherum model. A club deal allows a group of investors to participate in the same private transaction, generally through a dedicated investment vehicle. Instead of one investor funding the entire operation, several qualified investors can commit capital according to a defined minimum ticket. Depending on the transaction, participation may be structured with minimum commitments of €50,000 or €100,000. This allows investors to allocate capital across more than one private-market opportunity rather than concentrating a substantial amount in a single illiquid investment.

The transactions considered by Altherum may include:
- an equity investment in an established company seeking capital for growth, international expansion or a strategic acquisition;
- an investment in a start-up, scale-up or pre-IPO company;
- the acquisition, development or repositioning of a real estate asset;
- the construction or financing of a renewable energy project;
- an infrastructure investment;
- a private credit or private bond transaction.

In private equity club deals, the analysis focuses on the company’s financial results, cash generation, debt, business plan, management team, governance and potential exit routes. In real estate, the review covers the purchase price, location, expected rental or operating income, development costs, financing and projected sale value. For renewable energy and infrastructure projects, the main factors include permits, contracts, expected revenues, construction costs and the operator’s ability to execute the project.

Each club deal is therefore structured around the characteristics of the underlying transaction. The investment vehicle, capital requirement, minimum ticket, duration, governance, risk factors and exit strategy are defined on a deal-by-deal basis. Altherum does not begin with a product to distribute; it begins with an opportunity that must be sourced, assessed and structured.

“Altherum was built because investors were asking for access to private deals, not another product catalogue. We structure each opportunity around a real company, asset or project,” said Kolyo Boichev, Director of Altherum.

From Deal Origination to Investor Access
Before an opportunity is presented on Altherum, CGPH Banque d’affaires works on its origination, preliminary financial analysis and transaction structure.

This process may include reviewing financial statements, cash-flow assumptions, debt levels, guarantees, contracts, legal documentation and possible repayment or exit scenarios. The purpose is not to eliminate investment risk, but to identify where the expected return should come from, which assumptions support it and what could happen if the project performs below expectations.

Altherum provides the digital access point. It organises the deal information, manages its publication on the platform and allows investors who meet the required criteria to participate. Where appropriate, ownership or participation rights may also be represented digitally on blockchain, making transactions on the relevant interests more traceable and simplifying their administration.

Rare Real-World Assets as a Separate Investment Area
Alongside private equity club deals and other real economy investments, Altherum also selects rare and non-replicable real-world assets.

These may include fine art, diamonds and gemstones, rare watches, sports memorabilia and selected collectibles. The platform considers assets whose value is linked to scarcity, authenticity, provenance, historical or cultural relevance and the existence of an international resale market.

Before an asset is admitted, the selection process examines its documentation, independent valuation, condition, insurance and custody arrangements. The physical asset remains the basis of the investment. Tokenisation can then divide its ownership into digital units, with access to selected assets starting from €1,000.

Tokenisation is therefore an infrastructure, not the source of the return. In a private equity club deal, performance depends on the results of the company and the terms of the exit. In a real estate or energy transaction, it depends on the cash flows and execution of the project. In a collectible investment, it depends on the quality, scarcity and future sale value of the physical asset.

Altherum brings these opportunities together within one investment ecosystem: CGPH Banque d’affaires provides origination, financial analysis, transaction structuring and access to an international network, while Altherum provides the technological infrastructure through which qualified investors can evaluate and participate in individual deals.
