French Police Conduct Raid on Arab World Institute Amid Epstein Probe
According to reports, officers carried out raids at the institute as well as several additional sites in connection with an inquiry centered on allegations of aggravated tax fraud and money laundering. The investigation reportedly targets both Lang and his daughter, Caroline Lang.
In a statement cited by reports, Pascal Prache, head of France’s national financial prosecutor’s office, said: “They are part of a preliminary investigation opened by the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office on Feb. 6, 2026, on charges of aggravated tax fraud and money laundering targeting Jack Lang and Caroline Lang.”
Authorities launched the probe after the United States Department of Justice made public more than three million pages of documents related to the Epstein case. The released material reportedly showed that Lang’s name appeared 673 times in communications involving the American financier.
